37th consecutive Boston Marathon!!
(76th Marathon overall!)
David ran the Boston Marathon again this year, in support of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.

So fun to host a variety of Client Appreciation events recently!
We had the privilege of gathering clients for an informational and social evening of dinner and networking at Evviva Trattoria in the Joe Andruzzi Foundation Private Dining Room—where a portion of the proceeds will support the nonprofit’s important work.
We also hosted an afternoon suite with the Providence Bruins at the AMP, where clients and their families enjoyed great conversation, food and drinks, incredible center-ice views—and a PBruins win!
We’re so appreciative of the relationships we’ve built and the opportunity to bring our client community together!
Race Day Perfection!
It’s always a great 5K when the weather is picture-perfect, a father and daughter run it together, both medal in their categories (1st Knight and 1st female in her age group 🥇), we’re proud to be one of the event sponsors, AND it supports the incredible work of the Knights of Columbus in Wrentham.

Commonwealth National Conference - 2025
Our Commonwealth National conference this year brought our community together with purpose—to reaffirm what matters to our clients and reimagine what’s next. This year's conference in DC held special significance as the first major in-person gathering since Commonwealth became part of LPL.
It was great to hear the resounding renewal of our commitment to the exceptional service and deep connection that make Commonwealth, Commonwealth. In addition, we learned more about access to client and practice resources & technology enhancements through the new partnership with LPL.
We also participated in a Fun Run (No, David didn't come in 1st, and Diane sort of jogged/power walked it!) near the National Harbor at sunrise (gorgeous!) and partnered with Comfort Cases to fill backpacks for children entering foster care.
Looking forward to continuously growing and improving our services to our clients. Exciting times!

This early October evening was filled with inspiration, laughter, and hope—all in support of New England cancer patients and their families. Over $610,000 was raised to help families focus on healing without the added stress of financial worry.
David is proud to be part of the JAF Boston Marathon team again in 2026.
Great organization.

David runs his 75th Marathon in Chicago - October 2025

Tri-Town Chamber's 2024 Business of the Year!!
Santoro Financial Planning Group was recently recognized as the 2024 Business of the Year by the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce. We don't do what we do for public recognition, but it did feel great to be recognized for our service to our clients, to the local community and the Chamber. We're honored to be part of a wonderful group of local business leaders who believe in supporting each other and their communities. In sincere appreciation......
Continuing to Support our Local Community
David and Santoro Financial Planning Group supported this year's Wrentham Knights of Columbus 5k through our platinum-level sponsorship and David being the first Knight across the finish line! The day was even more special for David to run the race with his daughter, Adrienne.
All proceeds from the race support a level of need in the local community. This includes local food pantries, homeless shelters and other charitable causes. There were over 100 race participants.
"Finding the Good" at the Commonwealth National Conference
David and Diane Santoro recently participated in Commonwealth Financial Network's annual national conference in Orlando, Florida. It was a great opportunity to collaborate and network with other financial professionals, learn about planning and technology trends, and techniques to develop our Practice in order to continue to provide exceptional client service. It also provided insights and 'calls to action' for all of us to "Find the Good" and give back to our communities, far and wide.
David also exhibited great "restraint" in not taking one of the local rescue dogs (Addy) home with us!
David Santoro completed his 73rd Marathon!
David's marathon training continues, and he recently completed the Chicago Marathon in October 2024, his 73rd marathon overall. Now on to train for his 36th consecutive Boston Marathon in April 2025, as a Quarter Century Club member (those who have run 25 or more consecutive Boston Marathons) and in support of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation which provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when it's needed most.
David Santoro, an Eagle Scout, has served in numerous scouting leadership roles including Northeast District Chair, Merit Badge Counselor, Committee Chair for Troop 33, and most recently on the Narragansett Council Executive Board and the Northeast District Advancement Committee.
In recognition of his scouting and community service, David is a 2024 recipient of the Silver Beaver, which is the highest award that Scouts BSA can present to a volunteer for outstanding service to youth at a council level.

As David continues his Marathon streak and support of organizations helping families facing Cancer, it was another great day on April 17th, 2023 to recognize his personal and community advocacy fortitude! On this 12th year supporting JAF, Santoro Financial Planning Group also provided a corporate match for all donations to his run this year, for a fundraising total of just over $7,000. After all, 'Life is a Marathon' of sorts, with continued surprises and challenges - right!? Thanks for everyone's support!
David continued his streak by running the Chicago Marathon on October 9, 2022. This was David's 69th marathon overall.
On April 18, 2022, David successfully completed his 33rd consecutive Boston Marathon (this time with his daughter running her first!) This was David's 68th marathon overall. Although David is a qualified runner, he is also a charity runner for JAF (Joe Andruzzi Foundation), in support of families dealing with the financial difficulties a cancer diagnosis can create. David has raised funds for JAF for the past 10 years, and previously was a charity runner for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for 17 years. David hopes to complete many more marathons, raising as much money as possible for organizations supporting cancer research and families.
